    Managing Director

    Mr Dixon has over 20 years experience in the mining sector, focused mainly in the gold industry and was joint winner of the Asia-Pacific Mining Executive of the Year in 2017. Mr Dixon is a Chartered Accountant and has extensive experience in the management of public and listed companies. Previously, Mr Dixon has been employed by an international accounting firm, Resolute Limited and Archipelago Resources Plc. Mr Dixon has held a numerous director and management roles with emerging resource companies. Mr Dixon specializes in project feasibility, development, project acquisition and financing of mining projects.

     

  • Milan Jerkovic B. App. Sc (Geology, Post Graduate Diploma (Mineral Economics), Post Graduate Diploma (Mining).
    Non-Executive Chairman

    Mr Milan Jerkovic is a qualified geologist with postgraduate qualifications in Mining & Mineral Economics.  Mr Jerkovic has over 30 years of experience in the mining industry involving resource evaluation, operations, financing, acquisition, project development and general management.  Mr Jerkovic was most recently the Chief Executive Officer of Straits Resources Limited and has held positions with WMC, BHP, Nord Pacific, Hargraves, Tritton and Straits Asia.  Mr Jerkovic was the founding Chairman of Straits Asia Resources. Mr Jerkovic is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a member of the Australasian Institute of Company Directors.

     

  • Greg Miles BSc Grad Dip (Geol) MAIG, MAICD
    Non-Executive Director

    Mr Miles has had a successful career in mineral exploration and development of over 16 years in numerous commodities and mineral provinces. Broad technical expertise as a Geologist and Exploration Manager, directing a small, dynamic team as well as Board level experience as a Non-Executive Director. Highlights include the discovery and development of the 40Mt Mount Caudan Iron Ore Deposit, Parker Range Project (Cazaly) and exploration and development of gold resources at West Kalgoorlie (now owned by Phoenix).

  • Peter Rozenauers
    Non-Executive Director

    Mr. Rozenauers has extensive experience in commodities, equities and FX having spent more than 13 years working in Singapore, London and New York. He was involved in the development of long dated gold loans and FX hedging to the Australian gold mining sector whilst at Macquarie Bank in the early 1990’s and has worked as a private Equity Consultant. Mr. Rozenauers earned a BEng (Honours 1) in Mining from the University of NSW and a Masters in Applied Finance from the University of Technology Sydney.

  • Richard Boffey
    Matilda General Manager

    Mr Boffey is an internationally experienced mining executive with over 26 years’ experience specialising in mining project start-ups, mine management, feasibilities and continuous improvement. He has a successful track record of leading and delivering mining projects through the various phases of planning, permitting, construction and full operations safely, on schedule and on budget. Richard led the development of the Efemcukuru Gold Mine in Turkey for Eldorado Gold Corporation and the Wallaby underground project for Granny Smith Mines. He was recently the GM Operations at Cupric Canyon’s Khoemacau Copper Mines project in Botswana and also previously held the role of Regional Manager, Mining for Barrick.

    Richard has a First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate and a Bachelor of Mining Engineering (Hons).

  • Alan Thom BEng(Hons), GDipAppFin, FFin, MAusIMM.
    Expansion Study Manager

    Mr. Thom has extensive experience as a senior manager and executive working in Australia, United Kingdom, Africa and Bangladesh. Alan has managed a number of definitive and bankable feasibility studies for significant resource projects. Mr. Thom has worked alongside major international investment banks including the World Bank, IFC and the Asian Development Bank. Alan holds a Western Australian First Class Mine Mangers Certificate and previously held statutory mine management positions for Newmont in both underground and open pit operations. Mr Thom has consulted to a number of resource companies on project and business development.

  • Jeff Dawkins
    CFO

    Mr Dawkins is a Chartered Accountant with 25 years’ experience in professional corporate roles in Perth, London and Singapore predominantly in the mining sector and focusing on capital management, financial modelling, debt financing, financial reporting and corporate governance. Jeff was previously CFO of Hanking Gold Mining, during which time, Hanking took the Marvel Loch Gold Project in WA from care and maintenance into production. He was also CFO of Archipelago Resources late 2006 until early 2012 in which time Archipelago successfully developed and put into production the 150koz pa Toka Tindung Gold Project in Indonesia. Jeff also worked for Lynas Gold (now Lynas Corporation) for 4 years when Lynas developed and operated the Mt Olympus Gold Project.

  • Bruce Kendall
    Chief Geological Officer

    Mr Kendall has over 20 years’ experience in managing greenfield and brownfield exploration in gold and base metals. He was a joint winner of the 2012 AMEC Prospector of the Year and has previously been employed by the Independence Group, Jabiru Metals and AngloGold Ashanti.

  • Mike Robbins
    Company Secretary

    Mr Robbins has well over 20 years resource industry experience gathered at both operational and corporate levels, both within Australia and overseas.  During that time, he has held numerous project level management positions as well as CFO and Company Secretarial roles with Hodges Resources Ltd, Bannerman Resources Ltd, Moto Gold Mines Ltd and Asian Mineral Resources Limited.
